IntelLink Privacy Policy

What is IntelLink?

IntelLink is a Chrome extension that helps you save and return to useful pages. It can access Chrome bookmarks and includes a “Save last page” feature for saving the most recently viewed page.

Information IntelLink handles

When you use Chrome bookmarks features, IntelLink may access bookmark data needed to display, create, or update bookmarks at your request.

When you use “Save last page”, IntelLink saves the recent page's title and URL locally in your browser. This information is used only to provide that feature.

What IntelLink does not access

IntelLink does not read, collect, or transmit the body text of webpages. It does not use webpage content to create profiles, personalize advertising, or track your browsing activity.

Local storage and Chrome Sync

Bookmark-related data and the title and URL saved by “Save last page” are stored locally in Chrome. IntelLink does not sell or share this data with third parties.

If Chrome Sync is enabled, Chrome or Google may synchronize Chrome data across your signed-in devices according to your Chrome and Google settings. Chrome Sync is handled by Chrome/Google; IntelLink does not upload your data to its own servers.

Deletion and retention

IntelLink keeps locally stored data until you delete it, clear the extension's storage, remove the relevant bookmark, use the extension's deletion controls, or uninstall the extension. You can also clear extension data through Chrome settings. IntelLink does not retain this information on its own servers.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when IntelLink's features or data practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
